Who I am


It was during his early teens he realized a career in music was what he desired, showing a distinct interest for the gospel genre. With the support of his parents ShaunP not only crafted his talent for musical instruments but pursued singing as well.

ShaunP a ‘church boy,’ loved music at the age of 11, serving in church and also having met his wife Natasha in church, whom he is now married to for 19 years. ShaunP says it is a privilege to father his only son, Tk.

A pinnacle opportunity of leading 45,000 people in worship at the Gaborone Stadium in Botswana for a crusade and leading worship in weekly church services of 15,000 worshippers in Lagos Nigeria.


ShaunP’s first recording with a group called ‘Not just to People’ garnered him a SAMA nomination for for best ‘Urban Gospel’ category.


Global Prayer day gathered 20,000 people at the brand new Moses Modiba Stadium. ShaunP was the first singer/worship leader to open up this Stadium just a week before the 2010 Soccer World Cup.


Universal Music signed his album ‘Everyday of my Life’ which took home the award for Best Newcomer at the Crown Gospel Awards. ShaunP also performed live on this nationwide broadcast.


Led worship alongside Ken Reynolds at his church in Grand Rapids Michigan USA. The year closed off with a nomination for ‘Best New Discovery’ at the Africa Gospel Music Awards.


His 2nd release ‘Channel of Blessing’ was awarded ‘Best Gospel Album 2015’ at the Crown Gospel Awards. This album was signed to an international record label Dream/Capitol Records USA.


Marked 10 years in music ministry and this milestone was captured with a Live DVD recording held at the Vodadome Midrand titled ‘The Decade Project’.


The Decade Project immensely supported both locally and internationally. ShaunP has since travelled to the nations of USA, Mauritius, India, Zambia, UAE, Namibia to name a few.


Hosted a National Worship Conference at a Convention Centre with national guests and international guest Minister Stephen Hurd from Washington. Close to 50 churches represented with an attendance of 500 people. The main objective for this National Conference was to impart into the next generation, introduce a global worship culture and expose the necessary technological resources available to thrust the church forward. Lastly, to create a worship culture community with the same heartbeat across the city.


Serving in different ministerial platforms nationally and internationally. Had the privilege of serving The Potter’s House Dallas virtually and co-ordinating their e-choir alongside the creative arts department. Hosted his own tv series titled, New Dimension Worldwide, on the largest local Christian based television network, Faith Broadcasting Network. Recorded and released in the middle of the pandemic, a 4 track Gospel EP titled “Jesus The Centre” available on all digital platforms.


ShaunP has worked with award winning and internationally acclaimed artists like Ken Reynolds, Stephen Hurd, Vashawn Mitchell, Khaya Mthethwa, Loyiso Bala, Mahaliah Buchanan, Janine Price, the late Neyi Zimu, Janine Price, Ntokozo Mbambo, Lloyd Cele, Nqubeko Mbatha, etc.

An itinerate music minister, entrepreneur, producer and music consultant.

Shares his wealth of experience and knowledge at conferences/workshops, where he aids the development of worship teams and potential leaders.

ShaunP composes, arranges and producers artists and church albums.

Between the years 2012 – 2018 ShaunP attended 3C ministries in Johannesburg South Africa under the leadership of Pastor Bert and Charne’ Pretorius where he was the full time Music Director and also had co-produced their 3 award winning albums. ShaunP presently serves at the Durban Christian Centre Jesus Dome with lead Pastor’s John and Joy Torrens. A multicultural and multisite church in Durban South Africa.
